Loose Ends (Book 1)
Just another ghost in the ghost town.
Returning home after ten years as a U.S. Army Ranger, Will Hickock just wanted to disappear back into the dying Idaho mountain town where he grew up. But a decade of changes has turned the former mining town into a thriving mountain bike mecca.
Sometimes the past just won’t leave a guy alone.
When his best friend is murdered shortly after his return, the Sheriff pegs Will as the killer. And when a second murder revives an old grudge from Will’s past his situation goes from bad to worse.
Will finds an unlikely supporter in newly minted Deputy J.D. Pacheko, and together they try to unravel the mystery and prove Will’s innocence. In the process, Will is forced to confront a dark secret he never knew existed.
Dead Man’s Curve (Book 2)

Will is too busy juggling his job working on the big event for his boss Tim Spangler, along with the surprise return of his old crush Carla Montforte to help his buddy Sheriff J.D. Pacheko solve the case, but when his former Army Ranger commander sneaks into town undercover as a DEA agent investigating the dead man’s connection to a cartel drug ring, Will finds himself caught in the middle.

Common Ground (Book 3) Coming Fall 2025
“The course of true love never did run smooth” (W. Shakespeare),…especially when murder takes the stage.
Carla Monteforte is back in town to finally settle her probate battle with Corinne Barker over her late father’s estate, and Will is hoping to finally reconcile their long-distance relationship.
That hope goes up in smoke when Carla is arrested for the murder of Corinne the day after the court settlement is announced. Convinced of her innocence, Will drops everything, putting his job at risk, to try and find the real killer.
As if Carla didn’t have enough problems, a young woman shows up claiming to be Corinne’s estranged daughter and the probate case is suddenly back in play. A murder in another state further complicates things, bringing deception, deceit and an aggressive land developer into the mix as Will struggles to find the truth behind this complex mystery.
The Long Way Home (stand-alone novel)
A journey not measured in miles alone.
At the end of World War II, Leon Stark returns to the tiny town of Murphy, in the high plateau desert of southwestern Idaho, whole in body, but not necessarily in mind. Still haunted by the horrors he’s experienced in four years of combat in Europe, and plagued by visions of a guitar-playing vagabond who taunts him with songs that echo his own tormented thoughts, he struggles to find a foothold with reality.
More often than not, the worst scars are on the inside.
But he’s not the only one in Riverton who brought pieces of the war home with them, and among them are some who wish Stark had never returned. As he slowly begins to rebuild his life, a series of dark secrets emerge, threatening to unravel the small community, and Stark must decide between doing the right thing and saving his own sanity if he is ever to find a place in his hometown again.
